California Employment Litigation Attorneys

At The Feldhake Law Firm, APC, we know employment law. We know the ways employers must show compliance with the law in the fair and humane treatment of their employees, former employees, and applicants for employment. Our attorneys, paralegal and trained staff offers many years of experience in dealing with state and federal statutes and case law governing employment discrimination, affirmative action, sexual harassment, employee benefits, wrongful discharge, and employment contracts.

Our quality representation is guided by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN Act), the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA), the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and laws governing municipal employment. Where employment issues arise, we can help.

Your Passionate Advocate

Our employment lawyers welcome the opportunity to offer advice and quality representation to employers and employees alike, throughout California and the nation. Our practice passionately advocates for workers who are victims of wrongful discharge, those who merely want more information about their rights, and others who have been subject to possible discrimination and consumer fraud. At the same time, we advise many employers in these areas, seeking to avoid employee-related problems and litigation wherever possible, and mediating matters informally for cost and loss control.

We have years of experience in mediating and litigating disputes arising from alleged wage and hour violations; unpaid reimbursements; illegal wage deductions; use of independent contractors; wrongful termination; allegations of discrimination on the basis of age, race, or sex; exempt or non-exempt employee policies; class action suits against employers; and sexual harassment claims.

Statutory Claims

Other actions that our attorneys handle include those in which a worker is being unfairly paid less than peers for the same work, as well as retaliation against "whistleblowers" for reports of statutory violations. We also offer advice on labor issues addressing after-hours duties that go unrewarded and issues related to overtime pay, car mileage, minimum wage violations, and vacation pay.

At The Feldhake Law Firm, APC we are good listeners, and our counsel is geared to giving you the best legal as well as practical advice we can. We do not want to rush you into a dispute, but avoid or resolve it if possible on acceptable terms. Absent that, we want to make sure you understand all the options and the cost-effectiveness of each. We want to hear about your unique business law or employment situation. Our ongoing client commitment has been a hallmark of our California practice for more than 30 years.
